Turning your PC into a Wi-Fi hotspot
Virtual Router for Windows is an “Wi-Fi Virtual Access Point”, providing the capability of translating Wi-Fi modules and whistles in forwarding mode to become analog routers.
Creates access points directly from its interface – no “tinkering in the console.” Utilizing WPA2 encryption technology for protection. Forwarding traffic from Wi-Fi wireless access devices onto LAN/DIAL-UP network cards; open source code is included with it.
Virtual Router Functionality
- Change the setting on an access device so it enters “forwarding mode”.
- Creates a Wi-Fi network using an SSID and password WPA2.
- Redirecting traffic from it to a network card.
- Display of connected “machines”, their strength of signal strength and traffic consumption in real time.
- Log all intranet sessions and write them to a log file.
- Disable the “Forwarding” mode on devices used when closing.

Disadvantages
- Only the specified Wi-Fi module
