Convenient cross-platform multiprotocol messenger
Trillian is an Internet pager (instant messenger), unique in that it comes in two versions – Pro and Base – each offering limited free functionality.
An incomplete version does not support plugins and has other restrictions; we can therefore understand how strongly justified is creator’s desire for getting paid from this product.
After installinging the program, an eye-catching interface displays itself for user to interact with.
Creators invested significant resources and time to craft an extremely intuitive program interface. Their aim may have been to shock the public into purchasing this program – and, indeed, almost succeeded; yet spending $25 may not produce too many users of their own.

Trillian takes its name from Tricia Maximilian from D. Adams’ series of books “A Guide for Hitchhikers in the Galaxy”, making this software very reminiscent of any beautiful female character found therein. While Trillian may appear feminine on first sight, its aesthetic pleasure cannot be denied when using it! Unfortunately upon launch of the program there was no option of selecting language – meaning users would only experience English interface. Although most can easily adapt by changing to Russian by simply understanding menu structure; nonetheless this lack of choice during installation was significant drawback that must be addressed immediately upon installation to prevent miscommunication amongst participants!
