Video card diagnostics and overclocking
Rivatuner Statistics Server is part of MSI Afterburner for Windows. It functions as both interpreter of hardware-generated statistical information as well as visualizer of its received data, providing more in-depth views into your “iron’s” condition as well as more refined control over its technical parameters than through standard MSI Afterburner interface.
Display data in an overlay and/or game interface (full screen application), “rename” the performance of each sensor according to user-specified “names”, capture video/screenshots for upload to server and log statistics read from hardware, support synchronization with LCD-displays/Logitech keyboards etc.
Rivatuner Statistics Server Functionality is also supported.
- MSI Afterburner Distribution syncs up with and “grabs” all indicators from iron sensors – CPU, RAM, Video Cards, HDD/SDD drives/fans, PSU etc;
- Analyses received information and displays it according to user specifications in an interface / overlay / full-screen application (game) (if appropriate)/ keyboard display;
- alerting/responding “ironically” when reaching critical indicators;
- Change the sensor reading names according to user-specified “name”.
- Interprets changes made to “iron” attributes and corrects its behavior accordingly (increasing/decreasing rotation speed of cooler;
- raising/lowering clock frequencies on CPU/GPU cores, setting “working amperage/voltage BP), etc);
- Log file will contain statistical information; when its size reaches specified threshold (Kilobytes);
- log file re-creation takes place;
- viteza It then captures screenshots/streaming video;
- Time-related statistically defined hardware state information overlaid on them for analysis by software and/or humans;
Utility Features:
- This application features thorough and detailed information regarding each sensor’s performance;
- provides multiple methods of visualizing statistical data;
- offers flexible customization of its graphical user interface to fit specific environments;
- Users will have direct control of changing physical parameters of an iron directly through its interface;
- customizable “reactions” upon reaching “critical indicators;”
- Automatically recording collected information in log file when its size reaches beyond specified “digital limits.
Disadvantages
- Does not function independently from MSI Afterburner;
- modificaring physical parameters during work can “kill” “iron”;
- Receiving sensor indicator data with only slight delays (usually less than 1 second);
- At startup, significant resources of RAM must be “allocated”.
