PuTTY remote access client allows users to easily connect different remote access protocols – including rlogin, SSH and Telnet – as well as providing communications port functionality through which PuTTY operates.

PuTTY client download for pc allows users to connect and gain control over remote hosts such as servers or other hosts that reside elsewhere on the network. Connection is established on only one side; work takes place directly at its destination on another host’s end.
Initial development for this client focused on Microsoft Windows operating systems; however, later ports for Unix OS, Mac OS, Windows Mobile and Symbian OS platforms were unofficially developed by third-party developers as unofficial ports based on an MIT license were released by third party developers. Production now involves using this client in production.
