OBS Studio is an updated version of OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), an open and free source for video recording and live streaming.

OBS Studio download free for pc boasts a vast variety of features and capabilities and is completely free. This version has maintained the intuitive user interface – menu bar, preview window and areas dedicated to scenes, sources and mixers.

Each scene represents a separate set of sources; between scenes you can easily switch. The mixer shows all available sound sources.

Record multiplexing (converting FLV videos into MP4) has also been improved upon with full-screen viewing not working editing functions. As for downsides of updated version: Full screen does not function editing function.

Menu Options With this utility menu you can set and modify several basic parameters:

• broadcasting: choose from custom servers and broadcast services like YouTube for broadcasting.
• Output Mode should be treated as something truly worthwhile.
• its advanced mode allows you to configure various parameters – multiple audio tracks, formats and encoder choices are just some.
• its audio settings you are also able to mute voice/game sounds. Furthermore, CPU Profile affects processor load.
• Finally for those without streaming experience there’s even a simpler mode with automatic settings.
• Audio allows for adjustment of stereo/mono channels (stereo or audio), audio device selection and FPS value.
• whilst Video adds OpenGL rendering options and FPS values.
• Hotkeys provide customized settings while default values remain unfilled.
• In addition, Advanced Settings offer features such as audio buffering.
