Modular virtual studio for making music
The application is composed of the following main parts:
- Studio (for use with audio machines).
- Patte Editor (to create music samples).
- Sequencer (allows an opportunity of music samples arrangement within predefined tracks);
- Multi-Track Hard Disk Recorder enables multi-track recording to the hard disk or other media for later processing and use in further post production workflow.
DarkWave includes the following plugins:
- MIDI Input (a MIDI keyboard for playing software instruments already built-in).
- ES AntiAlias (a 32x digital oversampler).
- ES SpatialVerb (reverberator capable of simulating different rooms).
- ES Stomp (an automated source of rave kicks);
These tools include the BassHead virtual analogue synthesizer. - DGenR8 drum machine.
- QuadDelay which creates echo or choir effects and, finally, Mixer (8 track mixer with 2 additional tracks).
