Free raster graphics editor

Artweaver is a free bit-map graphics editor developed for Microsoft Windows operating systems by Boris Erich.

At its heart, this software primarily addresses both amateur artists and professionals working with such widely known commercial products like Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter.
As with the commercial programs mentioned previously, Artweaver allows for an array of different effects such as drawing with pastels, pencils and oil to produce natural-looking images.
Artweaver offers popular filters such as blur or relief and supports an extensive array of image formats like PNG, TGA, PSD, PCX TIFF BMP GIF JPEG. Furthermore, this application boasts fantastic editing tools including selection filling “magic wand”, pencil gradient gradient “lasso”.

Artweaver download for mac graphic editor is multiplatform and compatible with multiple operating systems like Linux or other Unix-like OSes by making use of Wine or another similar program.

Early versions of Artweaver download for pc were entirely free; with version 1.0’s release on September 30, 2009 however, two versions are now offered: both free and paid versions Artweaver Plus>> for EUR 29 with extra composition features including full compatibility with filters from Adobe Photoshop graphic editors as well as increasing maximum supported sizes.
Conversely, the free version of an application cannot be used for commercial purposes.
